About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit multi skilled CNC Laser Cutter & Punch operators to join our teams across our sites in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of products across a number of different end sectors.

 You’ll be part of a hands-on production team, responsible for delivering high-quality components inline with engineering drawings and specifications.

Hours

39 hours per week (plus any available overtime) – shift pattern dependent on location and specific duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme, and Operate CNC Laser Cutting machines and punches to meet production schedules
• Carry out minor fault diagnosis on laser and punch machinery to maintain maximum uptimes
• Ensure quality standards are met
• Work collaboratively with production and design teams
• Perform additional general factory duties as required
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Support continuous improvement across manufacturing processes
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience programming and operating CNC laser and punch machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Understanding of workshop health and safety practices
• Forklift or crane operation experience is beneficial (training provided if required)
