Project Overview
Steelway undertook a project to design, manufacture, prebuild and install a pre-assembled access walkway and staircases for our client after recognising the need for better access to ther rooftop. This initiative aimed to facilitate safe and efficient rooftop access, engineered to integrate seamlessly with our client's existing infrastructure while also minimising disruption to the surrounding environment.
To maximise efficiency and quality, the walkways and staircases were pre-built at our Wolverhampton manufacturing plant, where we utilise our 56,000 sq. ft. facility. By our client leveraging the Steelway Off-site Construction service, we were able to manage the entire process from design to installation, ensuring a streamlined workflow. Partnered with this, our rigorous quality testing at each stage of the manufacturing process ensured a high-quality outcome, as Steelway remains fully compliant with industry standards.
Delivering Results
Steelway successfully installed the clients access platform and staircases, meeting both safety and operational objectives. Through extensive planning and execution, the project was completed on time and within budget, ensuring minimal operational downtime for the client. Additionally, the access platform and staircases were designed with durability and longevity in mind, ensuring long-term performance with minimal maintenance requirements.
