Steelway offers a comprehensive range of built-up curbing solutions, specifically designed to complement our complete range of Durbar floor plates and open mesh flooring. Our mild steel built-up curbs are ideal for trench covers made from mild steel Durbar plates, available in various finishes and can be tapped to receive fixing screws for securing covers if necessary.

Mild Steel Option

Additionally, we provide mild steel built-up curbing insulated using Neoprene Strip. For convenience, standard 3-metre lengths are supplied for long straight runs of trench, with make-up lengths provided as necessary as per drawings. Joints are secured with countersunk bolts to facilitate installation, while welded lugs ensure stability at approximately 900mm intervals and approximately 150mm from each end.
