As a general health and safety measure, an unprotected edge of a walkway, platform or other raised area where a person is at risk of falling more than 0.5m must be fitted with a balustrade. Steel handrails may be of tubular or solid construction or a combination of both. Available in many options including a basic double line tubular steel handrail, which can include various infill panels. Another option is a welded balustrades to suit your specification in various materials and finishes.

We supply steel handrails not only to complement our staircases, platforms and other similar structures, but also as completely independent items to fit customers own equipment or civil engineering works.

All parts of our steel handrails and balustrades are tailor-made in easy to handle lengths and marked for assembly on site. We also provide our customers with drawings as a reference where they wish to install our handrails themselves. We also offer an efficient site installation service if this is preferred.
